"Big Cookie" Competition Information
The "Big Cookie" competition is our quarterly contest to see who will win the "Big Cookie". Each competition will have a theme appropriate for the season and all entries must follow the chosen theme.
Competition Rules:
1) All entries must be submitted as prints that are no smaller than 4x6, and no larger than 8x10 in size.
2) Prints must be un-matted and un-framed.
3) Only one print per person may be entered.
4) The photographer's name must be readable on the back of the photo (it is best to use a small decal or office sticker instead of writing on the print).
5) The print print must have a title (for example, "Whinnie's snowball").
Judging
Those who are not submitting a print for the competition will have their names thrown into a hat. Two names will be drawn from the hat and they will be the official judges. In addition, ballots will be handed out to each attending member and everyone will have a vote for the People's Choice, regardless of whether you're in the competition or not.
Prizes
Two big cookies will be awarded. One will be awarded for the Judge's Choice. Another will be awarded for the People's Choice. The winning images will be posted on the Mid Michigan Photography Club's web site.
