Wildflower Weekend/MMPC Nature Fest

A celebration of nature and the arts!

Looking for something to do Mother's Day weekend? Take a walk on the wild side and join us on May 10 and May 11 for this special family-oriented event at Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing, Michigan.

We've got something for the entire family!

  • Art show and sale!
  • Free gardening, wildlife, and photography seminars!
  • Chainsaw-carving demo and auction!
  • Woldumar's famous Pancake Breakfast! (Syrup and sugar substitutes are available for those with special dietary needs)
  • Pontoon boat tours on the Grand River!
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides!
  • "Wallpaper Woldumar" Children's art show!
  • Plant sale!
  • Get your portrait taken by members of the Mid Michigan Photography Club!
  • Children's activities!
  • Naturalist-guided nature walks!
  • Take a tour of the historic Moon cabin!

Admission is free. Some activities have a small charge.

Seminar Schedule

All seminars are free. The seminars are being held on the second floor of the renovated barn unless otherwise noted. Reservations are recommended! Please contact the Woldumar staff at (517) 322-0030 to make a reservation, or visit their website: www.woldmar.org.
